IMPORTANT - CITY OF MARATHON - UPDATE

The City of Marathon is in the process of installing a vacuum based sewer system that will require individual connection to the vacuum pits by the property owner.   Because of the scope of work required, the City of Marathon is encouraging home owners to start the property work (plan/layout of your individual system, trench, lay pipe with temporary cap and backfill) as soon as possible after completion of the construction of the area “Right of Way”.  A building permit will not be issued until the City has released your street or property for commencement of work.  To learn more about your requirements to hook up, click here.
